Bob Rockey has served those struggling with mental illness and personal problems in the Milwaukee area since 1980.  He is a graduate from Macalester College and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. At Northshore, Bob works now via telehealth with couples, families and individually with adolescents and  adults (as well as older adults), helping with such issues as depression, bipolar disorder, addictions, codependency, abuse, grieving and various eras of personal change. He often uses a blend of Solution Focus, Cognitive Behavioral, 12-Step and other therapeutic stances to fit the needs at hand.  Bob is experienced with pain and many types of medical conditions, as well as physical and emotional disabilities, chronic mental illness and EAP services. He now leads a therapy group for Chronic Pain through Northshore.  Bob is a long time member of the National Association of Social Workers and was on staff at Rogers Memorial Hospital for over 30 years in their in-patient facilities. He long supervised Graduate level Social Work and Counseling interns, and has been a speaker for the Waukesha Mental Health Association and a guest lecturer for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Concordia University and Alverno College.
