Jane holds a Masters in Social Work and is a Certified Advanced Practice Social Worker with a license in Marriage and Family Therapy. She received her degree through the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and completed post graduate training at the Family Therapy Training Institute through Aurora Family Service in Milwaukee. Jane is certified and licensed by the State of Wisconsin and provides adult individual and couples counseling as well as family therapy. She believes the goal of therapy is to obtain a good working knowledge of inner resources so as to build upon natural abilities and instill a sense of hope. Her treatment approach uses a blend of psycho-educational, cognitive-behavioral and related therapeutic models to treat anxiety, depression, personal and interpersonal issues. Jane also draws from various skill sets to help clients develop healthy relationships and coping skills. She also addresses grief issues and matters of faith that may impact psychological and emotional well being.
