I value the importance of creating a non-judgmental and authentic therapeutic relationship that enhances well-being while working through challenges, growth, and change. I partner with my
clients to help them recognize and utilize their existing strengths while guiding the development of new solutions to help overcome problems. I have sixteen years of experience working with children, youth and families in a social services setting and recognize the challenges that
individuals, couples, and families face as they navigate an increasingly complex world.
I graduated with a Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University and have been a Certified Advanced Practice Social Worker in Wisconsin since 2008. I have completed post-graduate coursework at the Family Therapy Training Institute through Aurora Family Service in Milwaukee and hold a Marriage and Family Therapist In Training license. I tailor my treatment approach to meet the individualized needs of the clients I serve and utilize evidence-based methods including Solution Focused and Dialectical
Behavioral Therapy models. I have had additional training in family systems and work with clients to improve relationship dynamics in couples and families. Some areas of interest include emotional wellness, couple conflict, parenting issues, life transitions and grief/loss. I understand how hard it can be to ask for help. My goal is to create and hold a safe and welcoming space for my clients to discuss life experiences and explore meaningful solutions.
